The UK Farm Woodland Forum held its annual meeting from 10th – 11th July 2018 at the Allerton Project (Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust), Loddington, Leicestershire.
The topic of the meeting this year was ‘Trees and Livestock’. Presentations covered Agroforestry in Research, Agroforestry in Practice and Agroforestry in Policy.
As is normal at the annual meeting, as well as the presentations there was a field visit. Delegates were shown the silvopastoral agroforestry trial at the Allerton Project, the new shelterbelts and the community orchard.
