How can trees maintain crop yields?

Climate change scenarios predict fewer but more intense rain events. Dry spring and summer weather reduces crop yields. Water loss from the crop is controlled by solar radiation, air temperature, wind speed and humidity.

The Biolandhof Braun is a much-diversified organic farm with 58 ha of arable land, 17 ha of permanent grassland and some forest. In 1988, the conversion to organic farming took place with the aim of respecting and preserving the environment and resources as well as creation.
