Forum: Trees in (agricultural) landscapes - from theory into practice

The 5th Agroforestry Forum is organized by the innovation group “AUFWERTEN” and  titled Trees in (agricultural) landscapes -  from theory into practice.

 

“AUFWERTEN” stands for “Environmental Agroforestry Services for Added Value and Energy” and is a project funded by the German BMBF. Further information can be found on the project’s website.

 

The Forum aims to highlight the interface between agroforestry science and practical application and covers questions such as:

 

- What are the environmental impacts of trees in agricultural landscapes?

- How can they be utilized in a way that creates profits and what is their impact on arable crops?

- How can agroforestry systems be sensibly integrated into agricultural practice and how do they contribute to combating climate change?
